🔍 How to Scan Port 7

nmap -sV -p 7 target
nmap -sV -sC --script=banner -p 7 target

🛡️ Security Considerations

  • Scan port 7 with nmap -sV to identify the exact service and version
  • If Echo is not needed, close or firewall this port immediately
